The very best part about it is Alphonso Dunn has an awesome YouTube channel with loads of tutorials and demonstrations to go along with it. He talks about shading, line control, and texture in a way that anyone can understand. There are several books dedicated to pen and ink drawing, but my favorite has to be Pen and Ink Drawing: A Simple Guide by Alphonso Dunn. I think it teaches you a lot about drawing because you take color out of the equation and just focus on line, value, and texture. I wish I was better at it, but I keep at it because for some reason I just think it is beautiful.
